i got a job interview tomarrow morning at 9:30 and i was suppose to bring a printout of my dmv record... well I didnt know DMV was closed on mondays, so I need to get this print out tomarrow morning. does anyone know if socal DMVs are usuually packed in the early morning when they open??

They usually get packed around 10-4, well, at least here where I live, Oxnard. If I have to go there, I usually go there right when it opens.

I once waited in line for 3-4 hours just to get my driving record. Which took less than 20 seconds to print out. That's just stupid.

hopefully it still rains, that should slow people down from going huh... i need this job bad and id hate to show up without the required paper.

Well then your options are quite limited. How badly you want the job will directly affect when you will arrive at the DMV before it opens, which will directly affect where in line you will be.

On a side note, I think driving record cost something like $5 (June 2004).

If you don't get it online then just go before they open, just to pass on some good info the best time to go to the DMV is right before the close I did it once and it was the shortest time I ever spent in a DMV :hs:

if you have a AAA card you might they might be able to print it out there... just give them a call... i got all my registration done there, and it was alot faster than the dmv

I dont think AAA can do it for you. Check their website if you like, but I could not get it done at AAA 2 weeks ago. And this AAA office is across the street from the DMV- kissing cousins.

i went at 8:30 this morning to get my print out for a job too! took me roughly 10 minutes (park my car, go to start window, wait for 1 minute, get print out, leave).
