i have an s14 parts car i would like to yank the rear end/axles/hubs out of to install in a car that is an hour away.
which would be faster/easier
droppping the entire subframe assembly with everythign intact?
or pulling the diff, axles, hubs?
its an s14se, the lsd will be going into an s13, and the hubs will be going onto another s13 of mine. in order to do an s14 diff in a s13 i need s14 axles and after taht everythign is good, correct?
also anyone know how to drop the subframe completely? im really thinking this is oging to be the smarter idea but have never done it.
thansk in advance, and please only post if you know for FACT

if you have the tools and a lift and the other parts yeah it would be ok but if you dont then indiviually dismantiling it would be easyer too move around
also make sure you have a lot of 14MM-32mm sockets when unbolting for the axles parts and the suspension arms.

putting the car a foot in the air isnt a problem, and i have air tools.
im thinking about just taking the bolts off to the subframe and hoping it drops well.

You really need to tone down the anger.
Dropping the subframe is simple, takes 15 minutes at the very most with regular hand tools. Unbolt the lower shock bolts and calipers and let it go.
It's wise to break the 36mm axle nuts loose before removing it so you're not forced to wedge the axles in place afterwards.
And you do not need to swap axles to install the diff, brush up on your information a little more before you're branded a hypocrite.

That was your mistake. On a lift, anything is heavier. On the ground it only takes a floorjack to raise/lower it with ease.
