Lets say you spin your car out, and the rear tire rams the curb. Rumor has it that you have to get the axles replaced, and some other stuff to.

Im looking at a 240 in my area, and it was involved in a situation kinda like that. I need to know what would be the worst case scenario on the condition of the rear of the car. What to check for in the suspension, and what not.

Worse case, what am i looking at?

My car hydroplaned on the highway and I hit the medium with my rear side, it messed up my back right side, but axles look good and still runs good...

check axles, diff, check your suspension for bends...

check entire subframe, could be bent, obviously take off the wheels and check all the suspension parts/arms/etc...
its good to get a fsm

Usually you'll bust a control arm

Take a look for obvious broken parts, get an alignment, if you can not get decent alignment readings, something is wrong, then start checking components in more detail

test drives work wonders

also have a mechanic check it out or take it for a ride

but if the
diff makes a noise like "WOOOO WOOOOO WWOOOO" while your driving, dont buy it.......

I moved my whole sub-frame 1" to the left. It's only like a $3,000 repair...

Do the math on all new rear suspension parts. Subframe, Arms, shocks, wheels. I didn't pay a cent.
