I think thats a nice project, can wait to see it complete. I have to get a S-15 conversion for my car, that front end is so sexy. I bet you they are probably spending over 30k on that car, but thats just my guess.

EDIT: I meant to say, "I have to get a S-15 conversion for my car" not "I'm have to give my car a S-15 conversion "

XylathaneGTR, do you know what you have to do to be able to do the headlight conversion? I'm also looking into doing this. I'm wondering if you will need:

Hood
Headlights
Fender

to make it work. Thanks man.

Yo Bubble...
the way i was gonna do it is this.
Ings Front hybrid bumber, molded on
then, take a Jun s14 Carbon hood,
and do a shit load of metal molding, and mold those fuckers in, and mount them in place and stuff...and keep the stock fenders and all that...just strict metal shaping.
I think, if it turns out to be to pricey, i'll just get an s15 Jun carbon hood and s15 fenders and do those, and mold the front bumber on.

I too have wanted to do the S15 conversion mine for so long....until I saw the GRacer kit for my car and fell in love...not to mention I'll save about $2,000 to put towards something else....like a turbo:)

But you are keeping the S14 bumper right, XylathaneGTR? Cause I honestly like the look of the S14 bumper more, but the lights on the S15 are just sooooo nice!

Bubble...
Yeah, i would for winter, and at summer, put on an aftermarket bumber...Maybe.
But yeah, i would plan on it.
The molding would cost a hell of a lot more, and like Blacks14 said...u could just use the extra cash to somethin fancy like turbo or something, lol...but it gives it a really nice custom unique look
But the Hood, Lights, and Fenders are all i think you need to make it work...maybe bumber, i dunno...and u prolly need a few other parts for mounting or something...i dunno...never really loooked into it.
BlackS14 should know

A couple months back... maybe last month Super street had a artical on a Japanesse 180sx with a S15 front end conversion. The car looks so clean. Plus I like the fact its a daily driver and not a show car. IF you go to www.superstreetonline.com. Click on "cars & events" and then "featured cars". Specifiy just nissan and I think its on the 2nd page with a title of "Thrill pill".

Oh this is one of the last projects that I have planned for this car. I'm doing the engine swap soon, then by summer the suspension. Then back to the engine. Then interior, then exterior. Then...start all over on a new car!

Wel, I'll try...
You'll need the hood, fenders, headlamps, and the headlamp support....and of course which ever front fasci/bumper you choose to go with.

One of the best fenders out there are made by Masa....www.masamotorsports.com *it's in Japanses so beware:)*

The hood (remember that you can go with aftermarket here as well...not sure who makes them though), lights and bumpers can be found in numerous places. One of the best places to find help with gettin all this is www.Jspec.com

....they used to sell the conversion, but since shit companies like VIS makes ghetto copies for cheaper, they have decided that they can't compete....they will special order the lights, the support, hoods and bumpers (beware though...very expoensive) I think...shoot them an e-mail and they'll help you out.

Always remember, when doing a converiosn of this nature, for the love of God, do it right the first time:)

...hope this helps

You can find a S-15 conversion kit for proabably $2500-$4000. There is this shop around my area (Northern VA) thats offers this kit with carbon fiber hood and aftermartket bumper, for the price of $3100. Wholesale Hyperformance (http://www.wholehyper.com/jdm.html) offers this kit (with the same bumper as the Injen project) for $2500 and thats the cheapest I have found one the net so far.

AFAIK, no.... at least Japanese ones wouldn't be, since they're aimed for RHD cars. They'd glare at oncoming cars instead of roadsigns like they're supposed to.
