if DOHC, low/mid 15's.
SOHC, probably high 15's.
wow, didn't think they were that fast, that GS-R territory <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/notify.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':notify:'>

SOHC
Stock- mid 16s.
I/H/E high 15s.
DOHC
Stock- about 16 flat, I think someone on FA got 15.7 stock.
I/H/E - low/mid 15s.

i really doubt a 15 horsepower difference is going to drop over a sixth of a second off the quartermile time.
SOHC power baby <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
edit: oooh....yeeeeeea.uhhh lets pretend i didn't say a sixth of a second. six tenths of a second i mean.
or 3/5 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

lol low 15s lol. if you could get a 240 to do low 15s with baseic bolt ons i wouldnt even be considering selling mine for a 300zx........ i think you would still be stuck in the 16s if not mabey a 15.9. stock time on a car stats web site i saw was 16.1 for the dohc. thats a good time... thats also with a pro driver. i have herd stock times on the 240 being as high as 17s... it all depends on the driver. and none of us here are really pro drivers... so i think youd still be stuck i nthe 16s if a very good driver very high 15s...... the 240 is not a good drag car :!:

did you just say its NOT a good drag car? i think you're wrong.. very very wrong. it has immense potential.

Meh, I don't think they make good drag cars either. They have lots of potential but we all remember the minivan that ran a 10 or the schoolbus that ran a 12...

well, it's true and false at the same time. you can't buy a 240sx take it to the track and expect to do good, get mad because for some reason you're running 16. then buy intake exhaust and header, go to the track and be 2x as mad because you spent 1500 and running 15's. it would be safe to say a 240sx is not a good drag racing car.
but then are people like duy and others <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> if you put a lot of work into it, the 240sx goes from being a bad drag car, to your average drag car, to an actually good drag car, when a lot of other imports simply go from bad to average.
