K for some reason my S14s been vibrating and its driving me nuts. My whole steering just vibrates round 40-50 mph but guess away the slower or faster i go from that speed. Any idea what it could be or what to do to fix it? Tires been balanced, maybe my allignment, but it does drift, it just vibrates. I mean dont mind the massage and all but 9 hr drive road trip to vegas and back each way, it just kinda got to me. Can it be bushings too, like bad tension rod bushing causing it? *I know thats shot cuz its been leaking*

alignment, rotate tires and balance. That should get ride of it no problem. I had the same thing going on with my s14 when I bought it back in '99 and that fixed it and havent had a problem with it since.

i was told that it can be due to

-crappy tires/tire wear (uneven)
-badly balanced wheels/tires
-bent wheel (only slightly enough that it's not really noticable at low speed)

if it was alignment related, it'd happen all the time...that is what i was told anyways

See thats the thing..it only does it between 40-50. I just drove the bitch to Vegas and back from the Bay and I was FLOGGING it. *I know I broke 260 kph at one point* It was solid, no vibrations, nothing.

Your rotors could be warped. Had the same problem and alignment didn't help nothing. Shouldn't cost more than $20 to get the rotors turned.
