What flywheel do i use?

I have an 89 sohc engine, with a 91 dohc 5speed tranny. I need to purchase a flywheel and clutch, what year should i buy it for?

The reason I ask is because of rumor I picked up about the sohc flywheel being slightly larger. Thanks.

i will accept :

"1" - as an answer meaning "use the SOHC flywheel" &
"2" - as an answer meaning "use the DOHC flywheel"

I did a 5spd swap. Need to get a flywheel and clutch still.

im pretty sure they are the same. i put my fidanza in my sohc and it was in a dohc before.

if you buy a kit, buy it for the tranny year model. That way you get the proper throwout bearing with it.

im going to say no on them being the same...

they have two different part numbers and a friend of mine told me that they arent the same :)

you can use either flywheel.
infact i belive they are the same.
since the sohc clutches are cheaper thats what i would go with.
if you need a clutch or a flywheel i have both for sale.
