After almost 2 years of driving my 240 around stock I finally plan on doing something to it with my tax returns. I just want a basic set up to start learning to drift. This is what I was thinking so far. Wheels for sure, wanna spend arounf $700 for some SSR Mesh or Longchamps, coilovers in the neighborhood of $1200 so probably teins or apex world sport, and LSD from something. I don't plan on doing an engine mods, because I'm going to end up doing a SR swap but the end of the summer. Does that sound sufficient? Is this a good set up for a beginer to learn on?

you dont need wheels to be start drifting, but i would go with better tires, maybe a vlsd or clutch type lsd if you can afford it, and better brake pads for the track. i say save the 700 on wheels and get suspension parts instead in this order. t/c rods, rucas, tc rod bracket brace (nismo pb or tc rod bars), and throw in the mix somewhere some strut tower bars (stbs). and for coilovers, with 1200 i'd get kts coils. but other options would be tein hes, or maybe save a few hundred more and get the gpsport gr6 or go balls out and get zeals, kei office, or topline aragosta. skys the limit with coilovers u can get a set from 600 (d2) - 3500+ since your choices are wide
