How did the ride feel on the world sport coilovers? I'm just gonna use them for the streets. Can anybody else provide info?

Not to be rude or anything, but what is the point of buying coilovers just for the street?

well if i buy springs that's gonna be $200...then shocks which depends how good i want them to be then it's gonna cost at least $500 for set....that's at least $700....while i can drop $200 more and pick up the Apexi's for around $925

So do you just want to lower the car? Because to go lower than 1.5 inch with the WS you will need an adjustable pillow mount (to fix camber) which is expensive. At least thats what I thought, I could be wrong.

Not everyone has access to a track. Coilovers improve the cars handling for everyday driving also, not just handling at the track (that should be obvious). If you take road trips, or just go for a drive, coilovers will make everything more fun when you get to the twisties. Are they necessary, no, but no performance mod is necessary.

i dont think i could agree more. i just got my coilovers on and i have never been near a track and dont know how often, if ever, i will be on one. they are just for the pure enjoyment of handeling and driving. but like said above, the only problem i see with the World sports is going to be find pillow mounts to adjust the camber. as for the ride, grant told me the ride was very good and very streetable. he said they were not stiff at all. so if you just plan on using the stock mounts i think they are a good deal. i almost got them myself.

Even though it's after the fact.....I don't recall being able to use aftermarket upper mounts with the WS dampers anyways...have to use OEM or the Nismo OEM replacement ones...just a heads up:)

I really think we should set up a group buy for the Teins too. I'm not going to be able to get them until about summer time though because I'm getting the engine first. I'm sure that there are plenty of others that would be willing to get in on a group buy for them though.
Wait until I get the e-mail back from Tein concerning the rusting problem though. That's something that everyone needs to hear about, so I'm going to post their response on the forums once I get it.

Greg, for about $100 more, Teins are definately the way to go, the adj dampener is a big puls in my opinion.
Anyways, if there is no point in getting coilovers, there's no. point in gettng exhaust, or springs, therfore not point in getting intake, and no point in modding the car at all.

Any negatives about using stock uppermounts?? .. somebody want to clerify?
Cause i installed them with stock mounts.. and i'm sure i have a negative camber.. but not a huge one. Clerity from the smarties please..

Let me rephrase that then, what advantage does coilovers have over a spring/strut combo on the street?
I guess it makes more sense on an S14 with less options for an easily adjustable shock. So going with TEINs would be a good idea.
I can't see any reason to get WS though.
