hey ppl

I have my parts all ready to go for my ghetto exhaust setup in the spring...im wondering though, since for instance, there is a flange after the downpipe of my header for the Cat to go on to but the cat i have doesnt have a flange. Plus if you flange it, then you need gaskets too, and those can blow out and so on..

question is, will i have problems if i just cut off where the flange is and have it welded together at that point? Or should i buy a flange and gaskets?

pretty much, it will be harder to take out if you need to...

^^ Exactly....

For instance, you need to replace your clutch. Do you plan to cut the exhaust off and then reweld it?

Just use that one flange...so you can pull the whole rear piece off, leaving only the header.
