Well guys. I'm leaving. I get to go play devil dog for 15 weeks. Not sure exactly where I'll be at but it will be very limited internet access if any at all so most of the time I have access I'll be emailing my friends and family. Anyways I'll be gone until late april early may so wish me luck. I'm leaving late tomorrow night so I'll be around a bit until then. Peace Out

Don't sweat Iraq. I's posting from Al Asad Iraq right now. The worst thing you have to worry about in the Green zone is not getting showers and scroungeing for food. I'v had tougher ops in Japan ans Korea.

You'd be suprised. They don't even allow us to have loaded mags in our weapons. No small Arms fire since I've been here (almost 6 months) and the rockets are all in your head. I don't even move fast when I hear them hit anymore. The only rocket you have to worry about is the one you DON'T hear. They are quite routine anyways. One attack per pay period.

Anyways be prepared.
For the Fall when you will be showing up:
all issue cold BLACK fleece and just the reg cold weather stuff temp right now is in the 30's at night. The wind kills
in the summer:
temp around 130 or so. be prepared to sweat you ass off.

That's about all I can say. It really caught me off guard when it hit the 20s over here in the winter. The wind really damn cold.

Hope all goes well. make some good cash. I put about 10,000 into parts for my car while I was out here.
