Goin Turbo.. 95% sure

Heya.
I am 95% sure I will purchase a turbo this weekend.  But I have a few questions.  If you have a turbo, or know enough about them... help me out and fill up that 5% doubt.

What is the difference between a T3/4 and a T04 turbo?  I can get either, and the T04 is $200 more.  Power difference?  Lag difference?

How hard will it be to install?  I intend on having my oil pan professionally plumbed, but how long will it take 2 people to hook up?

What will I need additional?  I know a turbo timer, a BOV, a boost gauge, probably a couple other gauges.  Then the whole intake tubing and downpipe.  Where can I buy / have custom made intake tubing and downpipe.  I definatly want this mandrel bent, but I live in a little town in SW. Florida.  Dunno where to go.

Where can I pick up a custom gauge pod.  I probably want it to go into the slot under the CD player in my S14.

Any other info would be greatly appreciated in my quest for forced induction. &nbsp;And it looks like the smart way to go would be KA-T <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>

On the SR at least, the T3/T04 will allow a little over 400 rwhp (and thats a really big T3/T04)...the T04 will allow upwards of 500. &nbsp;The T04, however, has a lot more lag - its a pretty damn big turbo. &nbsp;I can't give you actual numbers - - I'm an SR guy, not a KA-T guy.

I'd get minimum a wastegate (go Tial), BOV (tons of good blow off valves), boost gauge, A/F gauge...a turbo timer isn't required, but for 100 bucks its a good investment.

You live in SW florida...GO TO SOUTH FLORIDA PERFORMANCE...they do BEAUTIFUL work...I've always wanted to see what they would do on a KA-T or an SR...they're in Miami, if you need the number I can get it for you.

Actually, I'm going to be down there (Hialeah) next monday-saturday...I'm looking at them too for my SR manifold, maybe we can take a trip down to SFP...
