We're going back to Thunderhill for 2005!
An all day event for grip practice on the North Track.
An all day practice and insturctional Drift event on the South Track and paddock. This will be the event not to miss.

Had a great time! I couldn't drive my car but it was nice to see the action and got some rides. :)

NCDA definitely have to do more events. The drift/grip is great because people can do which ever they want.

This event was perfect, except the stupid fog in the morning. NCDA kicked ass and i was very happy with how Todd and Don organized the event and made everything run smooth. Everyone got plenty of track time, a lotta people i knew were there and everyone had fun.

Also my first time @ thunderhill.

Better facilites(bathrooms and food), better track, better staff, and WAY better location. only 2.5 hours and that's towing with a suburban. I cant wait till the next one. This is the best event i've been to so far

You're right - it's not Art - he's got silvia front end and the panels are slightly diff colors. Art had MASSIVE tire problems - :(

yeah that was us(the white guys) but that wasn't our camper.

there's a lesson to be learned. DONT drift on futura tires. They are weak ass shit. i'm appalled at the low quality of these tires. The steel belt on the tires just gave out and they turned into balloons after a couple runs on the skid pad....5-10mph!!!. :down: :down: :down:

Thats the same car I saw. I saw Art today and he didn't look like the guy that I saw on I-80 going home. And I think Art didn't go to NCDA.

The funny part about all this is.. Josh gave me a Futura tire for the BW event. -_-;

I had fun at both events, despite massive problems in every regard -- car setup, tires, hotpipes popping off, wheel studs coming loose, blah blah blah

Not to mention the massive headaches and semi-ulcers I was having due to eating fast food and little sleep for 4 days... :/

And to top it all off, my PS pump started to die during the BW event! (Anyone got a DE pump or SR pump for me?)

Oh well, it was fun.

My evo caught fire due to a wiring problem. All it did was blow up all the electronics in the car. Not covered under insurance or warranty. But i am fighting it.
