Lets say I got a gift card to a store that doesn't sell anything I want. What can you do?

I got a $500 dollar gift card to Harris and there is simply nothing I want from them. How do I go and get the money back? Any ideas?

man you can get some good stuff from there -_-... atleast get cologne or buy stuff for your girl or a girl you like. OOORRR fuck it..just sell it somehow :p

They were showing a website on the TV that alows you to sell your gift cards or trade them.

Some places you can buy crap and return it for cash.

ive seen the ad for that website before... pretty cool

the only possible problem for returning items at a store that uses gift cards is that they usually will put the return $$ back on a gift card, unless its like under $5 or $10...

yea you cant get a harris pack of gum and get 499.75 back (depending on taxes) cash. Best bet is to sell it someplace or trade it at this mysterious place they all mention

when someone is about to purchase something just ask them if u can pay for it with ur giftcard and they give u cash. that works sometimes

Can you buy something and return it? Then when they try and put the money back on the card say you lost it? :x:

my previous experiences with gift cards were that i used em up and bought a little extra using my credit card, then i went to return the items and they put ALL the money back on my credit card :) Try it, it should work

yo can sell it on ebay thats what i did with my macy's giftcard worth $270 got like $250 for it

There some good stuff in harris but ill rather spend it somewhere else.....i guess ill try to buy something and return it. If that doesnt work then ill ebay it!!:)
