found out today after a 10 minute drive to work that the head gasket is, in fact, s#%@, and it needs to be replaced....clouds of white smoke everywhere
:bash:
any opinions if i should get an OEM replacement or a thicker aftermarket.....
also what kind of cost will i be incurring with this repair? i really don't have the time or space to work replace it myself at this point......thanks!

If you plan to do major upgrades down the road, go ahead and go with a thicker HG, stay away from greddy/grex, go for an apex-i or tomei HG, much better quality.
If on a budget, go with an OEM gasket, www.phase2motortrend.com has them in stock .. and the aftermarket types also

13 psi??? maybe it was installed wrong or bent.. did you think of that?
13 psi isnt high at all,it had to be bent during install!
greddy makes alot of high quality parts, im sure if they were defective they would have solved the problem by now.
