I should change the thread title to 'Carl's Jr. supports assisted suicide', as that's what you're implying. Carl's Jr. isn't forcing people to eat their food. Last time I checked, humans have free will that lets them determine their actions. If people are so stupid to let commercials and other advertisments influence what they feed themselves, they deserve whatever negative consquences they experience.
If you're so much against Carl's Jr., make your own 'Super Size Me' to get the word out.
Whining on an automobile internet forum about stuff like this is a tad on the pointless side.

McDonalds still has more calories per dollar anyway.

Thats why I love Hardee's/Carl's they don't try to cover up the fact that their burgers are horrible for you. If you wanted healty food you wouldn't be at a fast food place or buy their atkins burger, also their burgers actually taste good since they changed the menu a few years ago :yum:

haha... yeah.

I mean they have a burger called a MONSTER THICKBURGER. That sounds like an insulting nickname you'd give a fat kid in school. "Hey monster thickburger, yo momma so fat..."

Carl's Jr...what is that? some fast food place or a diner?

Don't have those around where I live. Checker's is the only fast food place I go to now-a-days. When I want "fast food" I usually go to Chipotle, Panda Express or Boston Market. :)

Carl's Jr. is owned by the same company as Hardee's. They have about the same menu.

Make your own burger.

Sourdough (toasted) + 2x patties + swiss cheese + american cheese + onion rings + mayo + bbq sauce

My dad worked for carl's Jr for years. for those who don't know what carl's is, if you have seen the star that has appeared at all the Hardees, thats the carls star. All those new ad campaigns, like little toys are for little boys and stuff like that are carl's style ad's, as well as hardee's new deluxe burgers are all old Carl's products.

any of you guys that are near houston should check out miller's cafe. they have the best burgers EVAR. i wasn't aware that a hamburger could taste that good. they start at 1/2lb patties. i usually get the doublemeat and barely finish it all.

effin good, i need an excuse to drive 50 miles south now....

Has anyone had Fuddruckers? (sp?) You go in and pick a burger and the size of the patty (1/3, 1/2, 3/4, 1lb. or something like that) and then they have this bar thing when you can put whatever veggies and stuff you want. It's freaking AWESOME.

Backyard Burgers is good too. :p

Fudruckers is awesome, and the name is cool. The one around here is like a huge biker hangout on friday nights, its so funny, like hundreds of them come flocking to chill all over the place.

Or for those of us in the rest of the US that can take one of them without getting fat ;) Ah you people in California, you'd never survive on southern cooking, you'd roll over and die :Ownedd:
of course this no way implies that the rest of the US isnt fat... its just that the rest of the US doesnt care :(

Ruby Tuesday's has a "Collossal Burger"... its two 1/2 lb patties with 3 pieces of bread, bigmac-style... Man I love those things...

I'd eat Carl's Jr more if they had good fries. their burgers are good though. so are the commercials.

is it just me or are their low carb sandwiches just the sandwiches without buns?

http://carlsjr.com/images/upload/up_4dLxh.jpg

theicecreamdan
01-08-2005, 09:15 PM
that's how most low carb sandwiches are at any place... buns = bread = carbs cut the bun and cut the carbs.

papershot
01-08-2005, 09:49 PM
obviously. I was thinking the low carb chicken club would have something healthier in the bbq sauce mixture that its coated in instead of a lettuce bun.
