Jacking up the 240

Hey this may be the newbiest question ever but here goes...
Can anyone tell me where the front jacking point is for a 1993 240sx SE? Do I have to take guard off the bottom to get to it or can I leave it on? Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

When you get lowered, use mutliple jacks, wood blocks, and tow hooks to get to the cross member.

Hrm... welll, the thread starter seems to have his question answered.

I don't have a jack, so I use my emergency jack along with my dad's SUV emergency jack.
(basically, i jack up the car as much as i can with the 240SX jack on one side of the car.
Then, I slip the SUV jack under the jackstand point, the really thick unibody bars that go along the sides of the car where you have to put the jackstands underneath according to the FSM.

I use a wood block for the top of the SUV jack because the jack surface is like 2'' in diameter.

I jack up one side completely (left or right) and then slide a jackstand underneath the bar section.

Then I go to the other side (while the car is resting on one jackstand), and do the same thing and slip the 2nd jackstand in.

My worry is..

I have really high jackstands, they are pretty big. bigger than all of my friends'.

So, I am worried if it's a bad idea to put that much stress on the sides of the cars (particularly the axles and what not ) because i'm jacking from one side at a time.

buy a real jack.

you can get a 2 and 1/4 ton heavy duty floor jack from harbor freight for like $50.
