Anyway, this was done a couple years back for an anime convention. A large part of this specific con is a stage show, in which participants perform skits that parody anime series. In this case, we did a comedy skit parodying Initial D. The photo was taken during a session earlier in the day, that was specifically for "cosplay" photos. So, it's not like we were a bunch of morons walking around in public with cardboard cars, there was actually a purpose for this.

By the way, if you were wondering, I was Nakazato. My car's not in the pic, as I barely finished it in time for the event. My Skyline, as well as the FC in the picture, had working lights. (The FC's were actually done with glowsticks in the taillights and small battery powered bulbs in the headlights, mine was done with an arangement of LEDs and a circuit board I soldered up.)

By the way, we're all real car fans and drivers. You guys have seen my real car, "Bunta" has owned a MkIII Supra (which he took to Driver's Search last summer) and an FC, the guy in the AE86 drives an FC, the kid in the FD is an AE86 guy.
