So i just picked up some oni's... (thanks david and sorry erika :sadwavey: ) but the rivets have a lil surface rust. whats the best thing to use to clean it off? I have this rust removing gel that imma try in the morning but highly doubt that this will work that well. anyone have any suggestions? I heard Wd40 but this will ruin the paint and maybe the clear film on the wheels. any other ideas? what do U recommend? Thanks!

Ugghhh thats gonna be a PITA to clean. Is painting the rims an option cause thats what I did to my volk meshies.
Just getting into that little area is almost impossible especially if you are trying NOT to damage the rest of the rim.
Maybe if you get a dremel and a sanding or stiff wire brush attachment you can get them somewhat clean.
The problem is going to be using something that will clean the rust and NOT ruin the rest of the rim. Anything that would remove the rust is gonna damage the clear and dull the polished lip.
You can try that Castrol SuperClean shit. It comes in a purple spray bottle. The stuff works wonders and its safe on rims.
My advice would be to just leave it.

are they rivits or screws because rivits holding a wheel together doesn't seem that safe. maybe u can take off the screws for easier access. are they two piece? did u get a set or a pair?
