I need to pickup a clip. Here is the problem, how the hell do you guys tow it. I measured my front end and it's about 64in from left to right. I don't want to rent a Uhaul because the prices are super expensive per mile. I would much rather rent a trailer or something I can tow with my SUV. Please give me some ideas....or if someone can help me shoot down to Sac. (Venus) and pickup the clip I would be forever a debt, a 12-pack could be in the near future for you and gasfade if you decide to drive....

They got 3 BlackTops left, and I get a great deal through the place I work....so I would like to shoot down there sometime this week. I'm stumped though...WHAT DO I DO!>!?>

You could maybe rent a flatbed tow truck...

Uhaul rents vehicle trailers, put some wheels on the clip and push/pull it up in there..

You're booboo.

Rent a trailer from UHaul, thats how my friends & I did it. Use a picker and drop it on the trailer, or use a forklift.

They charged me 70 to get it from South City to SF. How much cheaper is uhaul?

You even get a couple of latin fellows to help. :faint:

UHaul full size trailer is like $60 + tax.

the half-size (enough for a halfcut) is like $10 or $20 cheaper.

SO the answer is not much cheaper, depending on how far he's towing it...

We pick them up with our regular car trailor alot. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE CLIP IN THE MIDDLE OR FRONT OF THE TRAILOR!!!! If you put it all the way in the rear itll be fish tailing all over the place, trust me... i know. Strap it down good. We use a engine hoist to get them off the trailor, or well remove the motorset frmo it while its on the trailor and then you and your buddy can just push the clip off the trailor and even lean it up against a wall to save space. =)
