2pac: why do you say that? there will actually be more than a few girls performing, and the crowd is usually split half and half :D

Damn... I was planning to go to the show and then stay at my sister's in Daly City after, but shit changed. I've been going crazy getting my car ready for the NCDA event on Saturday. Hopefully there'll be another show.

wow... i'm still amazed by how dope the show was last night. The "open mic" was really an all-star showcase. People from the most revered spoken word crews performed: 8th wonder, proletariat bronze, youth speaks, and other super talented people (b-boys, singers, and even a clown!) from the crowd. Denezen, from typical cats, had the opening show, and i immediately felt bad for the following performers because his performance had the crowd in awe. Happily, however, ill-literacy brought out, in my opinion, their best poets, who gave one of the best performances i've seen in a long time. Native Guns was next and they were... unstoppable.

all in all, last night had to be one of the best shows i've been to. it was dope how the artists, who are idolized by the bay area underground, mingled with everyone after the show. the dj was also scratchin'/beat jugglin' at the the end and let random people use her turns.

Bay area always has a much nicer crowd( people are cool as hell ) then LA, OC & SD .. wonder why
