You basically need to learn how to drive I assume this is your first rear wheel drive car...
What RPM are you spinning your wheels at? What RPM are you turning at? Are you on the gas through the turns, is the pedal to the floor? There is nothing wrong with your car, you just have to learn to controll it.

emmmm maybe ,yes this is my 1st rearwheel car but i'm not really punch the gas when i take off maybe 1000-2000rpm..but again maybe it's just me..
anyway...
DSC..how better is OBX short shifter?? how shorter is it..?? I'm looking for 1 cos the stock shifter is really really long..I'm asking cos i know u have it in your car..thankx

Yeah, it doesn't take much to get the 240 to lose its grip in the wet.
The OBX is great for the money. It really makes shifts crisp and short compared to stock...it will make an even bigger difference in an s13 since their shifts seem to be a bit more slopy than an s14 stock. They do tend to snap in half though...but thats not a big deal, you can just glue it back together and it will be fine from then on (factory glue sucks). The height stays the same by the way, only the throw shortens. I've heard great things about the B&M and they are supposed to be makeing it even better soon...I plan to get their new one sometime most likely this fall or winter. If you have the money I would recommend getting the B&M but its more than triple the price ($250 vs $75) so either one would be a good choice.

just feather the clutch when taking off, and only give it enough throttle to keep it going, around turns. a limited slip differential would help too, because if you make a right turn, the weight transfers off the right wheel, and that's where the power is going to go with an open differential.

feather<<< means don't let go too much cluth??
anyway please educate me i'ma newbie and still leanring how to ...and yes a limited diff will be here as soon as i have some money in the pocket ..do u guys have any ideas how much it cost? and where can i get a good cheap ( or reasonable ) price??

sometimes you can't help but to spin the tires if you are going up hill, especially with bumps, but on a flat surface, you should be able to take off with out spinning the wheels. try revving to 1500 and let out the clutch just a little, then gradually let up as you take off. you basicly can't drive like you normally do when it's raining. you have to drive like a grandpa on a sunday, after a big meal.

a limited slip may cost around 300 used. there is someone on here who usually has a limited slip diffs their selling. i don't remember the name though.

just take your car to a parking lot and spin around a couple of times after you get the hang of it , its really fun to drive in the rain..
