Just got my AGX's did i already screw them up?

Hey guys i just got my agxs and i tried to push them down with my hand and i can, i pushed them down pretty far. Well i thought about it afterwards and did i mess anything up by doing this, and should i be able to do this?

your car would eventually push em so why not?

yeah no problem with that. unless they never come back up anymore. then you are screwed. but i dont think thatll ever happen

you are taking these to a shop to get installed right? I would recomend that to start with.

the fun is in keeping your car on the road and not broken! Especially in this instance.

i remember when i installed my koni struts on my accord years ago there were instructions to prime the strut cylinder (to get air out) by pumping them up and down for about a minute. theres no way your hurting it! ;)

sorry i should have been specific, i do not understandhow they work, i do know how to install them, that is not a problem. I assumed i didnt mess anything up, but when i recieved them one of the straps that keeps the front ones from expanding had come off and i tried to get the 2 to be equal sizes by working them and allowing them to settle, but it did not work. eventually they became the same size after i made the post.
