SR tranny qeustions

Well i think my tranny is crap... no reverse and 3rd and 4rd are MIA but only somtimes... any way, are the KA24 DOHC or SOHC tranny internals exchangable with SR tranny internals... i dont really understand transmissions so i will have to take it somewhere, maybe nissan because i live in the midwest theres not a lot of professional shops.. no one around here knows if the parts are exchangable..

I thought the sr tranny is geared longer

^ this is right, everything is identical except for the bell housing...
The rb20 uses the same tranny internals as well....
