hey all, i just installed my thermostat in my motor and i was just wondering how long it takes for this orange silicon gasket marker drys? Will it dry faster in the heat or in the cold? you all think i should start my car up and let it warm to fry that bitch up?

what does the directions on the tube say?....mine says 12-24 hours for drying time...

i was under the impression that gasket maker cures from the inside out...meaning heat will harden the outside, but will still be mushy and soft on the inside....i could be wrong and i probably am...
