when u remove the bumper support, how does the stock zenki bumper stay on without it? my grill sits too far forward and my hood wont close to i had to cut part of the grill off, the bumper stay is resting on my intercooler, i was wondering how do u fix this? can the bumper be adjsuted to move back a little and down a little?

actually.
i want to say something.

it rests on the thin metal piece that runs along the front that goes right below the headlights. this piece is actually the bumper reinforcement.
i forget the actual name of the "real" bumper.

Yes people always call these pieces by the wrong names and it really annoys me for some reason. The big 70lb piece of metal is the BUMPER REINFORCEMENT BAR. The thin whimpy piece of metal is the actual bumper support.

i just "ajdusted" the bumper support with my feet untill it fit over the intercooler and bumper still fit on fine. as for the bumper reinforcement bar, i had to cut the middle out to fit my FMIC, greddy btw

do u have any pics of how it sits? my bumper sits too far forward leaving some gap between the bumper and headlights.

I just cut the middle piece of the bumper reinforcement to fit my FMIC. Left the thin strip alone to support my bumper cover and help it wedge between the bumper and headlights.

Technically, isn't the thin piece the support, the big piece of metal the bumper, and the urethane / fiberglass part the bumper cover?

No.

Upper bumper retainer
Bumper reinforcement (rebar)
Bumper cover

Those are the correct Nissan terminology.

One good way to better support the retainer is to remove the clip on the center hood latch support and use a nut/bolt instead. That provides a little more solid mounting point.
