What is the name of the bar that goes across the floor between the front seats and the back seats? And does it have to be bolted down or does it need to be welded?

Floor bar or Rear cross bar. I think bolt-on or not depends if it was made specifically for the car or not.

^ Much appreciated! I posted on two other forums and no one could tell me what the part was called! Not sure if I wanna pay that much for a Do-Luck, though. But now I have a name to search for. When all else fails, Zilvia always saves the day!

they are usually bolted into prime spots of the car that have previous holes/bolts. You can weld them but i thinks its better to just bolt them in.
