Ive searched around and found that sometimes the gears break off/become seperated on the 240 odo's, so when mine died a few weeks back I pulled out the cluster and pulled the speedo out and looked at the gears on the odo and nothing looked broken or seperated...
So I was about to get a new one the other day because it hadnt worked for awhile, but when I started driving that morning it began to roll over and work properly, then the next afternoon it stopped...
Now the first morning when it started working it was extremely cold ( for FL ) and the next afternoon it stopped working it was warming up to around normal temperature for this time of year...
Would the temperature effect anything having to do with the ODO or am I just looking into this too much and just need a new odo because mine is crapped out...
Thanks in advance.
