actually, over the stock steelies... I noticed a handling improvement (stiffer sidewalls, or stickier rubber, some combo probably) and waaay better brake fade resistance (open spokes = more cooling).  Just thought I'd mention that.

Picked up these GAB 2-piece 16x8s to hold me over for a little bit... don't like the design, but love the 225s... they're going on this week... I guess that's life on a budget for ya.

look at the pic.. you cant laugh they CAME WITH THE CAR when i bought it.. american racing something 5 spokes... they are definately better than hubbies.. but im in the market for some 17's maybe 18's but i doubt it.. oh well.. they are ok... they will be my winter rims when i buy my new ones

Yeah, it doesn't do the Volks justice till you see them on an S14...wow...perfection...I'll post pics as soon as they get uploaded by the guy that's hosting em...

If you have an S14, I'd seriously consider going with those Nismo rims that look like the my rims and the TE-37's...I've never seen em for sale, never seen em actually besides one time in option...wow...how cool is that...they look like TE-37's...but they say nismo...wow...

Yup, those are the ones that I'm going to get. I'm going to wait for them to start selling them here, or I will have to go through JSPEC.com or someone like that to get them.

I have strange mystery rims. They're not the 7 spoke rims that most s13's have. They look a lot like wheel covers on steelies but they're not. They look sorta like the old maxima rims and they say Nissan on them.

Are you for real?  what kind of brakes are those???  I've never seen that brake setup on an 240.  What other mods do you have.  What model do you have?

I never really liked the 3 spoke rims but yours look pretty nice. I love the black and red and the brakes look great under those rims. You got any more pics of your car.

Those are the "teardrop" alloys....not that strange and mysterious, but not too common either from what I've seen.

i have an 96 s14 converted to 97
those are ap racing/stillen 6 piston calipers and 13 1/2" rotors
turbo ka currently 50 lb msd injectors w jwt 4 bar fuel press program.upgrading to 70 lbs an hour injectors and new jwt cams within couple weeks.
i should be around 500 to the rear by summer time
ill keep you guys posted

i went into autoimaging the other day and they tried to sell me some wheels that weighed 12.5 lbs for 2000 bucks in a 16'' with no tires. i laughed and left. bought kosei k1's in anthracite today for 500.
