Just got the swap done. Everything started up fine but after the car warmed up it started to smoke by the exhaust manifold. Its white smoke. I pulled off the hotpipe and there was oil in it. It started to drip a little from the hotpipe. Could it be a blown turbo??? any info would help
thanks

Did you run a hose from the valve cover into the intake? If you did, that could be where that oil in your hotpipe is coming from. Smoke on the manifold when you just start it doesnt necessarily mean its a bad thing. You're probably just burning dirt and oil on your manifold. Should go away after a bit.

Well i didnt run a hose from my valve cover to my intake. Theres alot of oil in the hotpipe and some oil started to drip out of the downpipe too. The smoke from the exhaust manifold wouldnt stop smoking. If it was just burning off dirt and oil it would start smoking less. It just kept on going. Also my speed sensor is stuck and i cant get it off. Any special tool or tips to take it out.

Sounds like blown turbo seal to me.

Yea, I'm thinking the same thing.
Did you put a breather or catch can hose on the valvecover in replace of the intake hose? Not that it has anything to do with the smoke, just wondering.
Look at the turbo's turbine side (opposite side of compressor side/intake side) and look around it for leaking oil. GL

I ran a hose and put a breather on the valvecover. Oil seem to be coming out more from the hotpipe side. The next morning when i went and looked at the car.. oil was dripping from my downpipe and went all over the floor. The oil looked like it was mixed in with something else. The color looked grayish. Something else i notice when i took off the turbo that the previous owner wasnt running a coolant line to the turbo. He didnt plug up the hole with a bolt where the coolant line ran to the turbo. They just crimped the coolant line and put some type of glue to keep it from leaking. The turbo has no shaft play and it spun freely. But my best guess that the turbo is bad.
