DIY intercooler piping

Anyone do their own i/c piping. I have most of the parts.. but I ran into 1 problem. I bought my intercooler, all the piping, and I'm going to get the couplers for them. My question is, where can I get a pipe for the IACV hose? Also what size is it? I'm going to bring it to a muffler shop to get the pipes I bought welded together along with the IACV pipe, just need to know where to get it.

BTW I've only found silicone couplers at www.atpturbo.com. I need 3 transition couplers and they're $17.50 each! So a total of about $75 for all the coupler alone! Anyone know of another place that I can get them from cheaper? Maybe just regular rubber ones.

Dont use regular rubber ones as they aren't meant to hold boost. The couplers are expensive, but just bite the bullet and get them. You can check ebay sometimes they have deals for them.

OK I found this:

It says they're rubber not silicone, but it's designed for use with intercoolers. So are they still ok? BTW aren't stock ones rubber? I know silicone is better, but is it really necessary? If so I will get them but if not then I won't heh.

Anyone know about the IACV?
