That's why boys and girls, you torque your wheels down.

That's precisely why I NEVER torque my wheels.
I hand tighten them only. That way they never get stuck.
Good stuff.

Oh, did you get them off?
You could try a wheel shop, they have what's bascially an "EZ Out", but in reverse...it's has an open end, and will grab onto the nut and tighten as you try to turn it off (lefty-loosey).
Good luck.

i hand tightened it too! i had to get tuner kinds b/c my advans have tiny holes for lug nuts and these are the skinniest ones i could find - still barely fit

you could use a star shaped socket, a little bigger than the size of that tool you have. Hammer it in there and hold the socket wrench pressed when trying to take it out, hopefully it will come out.

you guys can "NOT" torque your wheels down all you want. I like to keep my rotors from warping, and my studs from snapping off.
The nut itself cracking just means you got fucked nuts!

Hammer a 12pt socket on there and get it off that way. Just don't miss and hit the wheels.

yah i also believe in proper torquing.. Just recently one of my tires blew out on the road, and as I was trying to break the "tuner" nuts off, the idiot shop that installed my tires made them maaaaaad tight, it was startin to strip my key lock....
Woah those lug nuts say "Zenki"... they must be jdm, guess they wont work on my chuki or kouki huh.....

Truthfully I don't use a torque wrench. I've been working with wheels/rims/tires for enough years to have a mental idea on how much 60 ft/tq is. If you do, do it this way, just make sure all the lugs have an equal torque. Don't have one tigther than the other.
Never torque the shit out of your bolts till you shit in your pants, that's a big no no. Will warp rotors, and be a bizzatch to remove.

if you want.. you can waste a cheapo 19mm socket... pound the shit out of the socket over the lug... and use a breaker bar.. this is what i had to do on my buddys gorila nuttz...
Ritz S14

Gorilla nuts actually uses a 17mm, and you don't even have to pound them
I'm pretty sure a 19mm socket will not fit in the hole of his wheels. Just try what someone said with the oversized torx bit, and good luck.

i cant fit any socket over it because half of the lugnut cracked off, so basiccally its like a half circle where you putthe key in...i see no other choice but to drill :(

Well if its broken off use some channellock to try to get it off or even better get the kind that lock so that way theyl stay on the nut, get a pipe, big enough to fit over the plyers, and undo it that way.

do you guys think that lug broke because it was over torqued, or is poo ass lugs?
I recently bought MUTEKI open lugs for my 5 lug swap from phase2....any of you guys are using those?? what do ya think bout them?
thanks

s14 blacktop, i tried that already and all it did was break off more chunks off the lug nut...the lug nut is complete shit!!!!!! such cheap quality....i didnt torque it on too tight cuz im smarter than that this shit sucks!

Man that sucks ok go to sears and get a stripped nut remover get one that will sink its teach into the out side diameter of the nut, I think they come four in a pack, each one being a different size, well try to get the set that looks closest to your lug nut size bigger and smaller, and hammer it in so it will get a grip on the nut and HOPEFULLY it will remove it :D .

Antisieze is cheap. Been using it for long time and didn't have a problem.
Oh yeah, torquing it to right spec helps.
also, when getting lug nuts, spend some $$ on a decent set.
the ones off ebay are shit, get a set of gorilla ones, proven quality!!
I mean those little bolts hold your wheel on!!!!!! Don't be cheap!!!!

aahahahaha that shit happened to me
its the way you twist it out to much pressure on a certain point.
now i hold it straight.
i had to torch it out sad day for my rims

you could try to stick the head of a bolt in there.... maybe tack weld it in place.
Then use two nuts on the bolt. The two nuts can squeeze together. then use that to loosen the lug nut

If im understanding it correctly, the lug nut is pretty much in several pieces, yet it is still holding on to some stud threads, but spinning on those?
Make sure that the lugs are not spinning inside the hub?
anyhow, i'd recomend a drill with a "spinning top" looking bit, drill into the lug nut and you'll be able to crack it off.
the "top" bit im talking about sorta looks like a dredel that you can spin, except as u keep drilling it widens up so it'll eventually break off the lug nut.

if the thing keeps breaking more you should be able to split it go get a good cold forged chisel that will fit down into the recess then line it up on the nut and beat the thing with a hammer it will slowly work its way into the nut until it splits

mm well. after reading all this I just came to one conclusion:
NO ONE HAS A FREAKING IDEA OF WHAT TO DO, SO IMMA START A THREAD on HOW TO REMOVE THE WHOLE WHEEL, and WORK on it from the inside...

drill it out.... thats wat u hada do
and i bought gorilla tuner lugs, gotta stick with a name brand
as for tq, buy a torque stick for nissan lugs, i got one its great, u can use an impact and not over tighten the lugs, the metal is made to liek flex at a specific tq
