I paid $169 for a new lip, with hardware, at the dealer. Retail is only $212 for the complete kit.

Not quite. There are 5 bracket/mounting plates. 4 for them at $30 each and the middle one at $40. The lip goes for like $125 unpainted. It still has to be painted. That's a total of at least $285 not counting paint. Anyways, I will lower the price to $150 for just the lip and no mounting hardware because it's already painted. Otherwise, I will just keep it :D

For what you paid, I'd keep it too.

Seriously, I bought two within six months (crashed one), both came fully packed with all the hardware and both were $169 and change. The invoice stated $212.34 list (I have a dealer account) so you definitely paid way too much.
