As the title says, they're hiring full-time positions only. They pay $8.25/hr, but will raise your pay rate depending on your job performance. The job is really fast paced and you have to deal with an obnoxious boss, other than that, everything's cool. Yesterday, I drove an SL 65, it's V12 Twin Turbo 6.5 liter. That car was so baddass. Anyway, just thought I 'd let those of you who are looking for a job know about this opening. You'll need a valid driver's license and a clean record, so no criminal background. They're looking for 3 more people to hire.

I dont mean to jack your thread, but there are always job openings in the parking industry. That's right, valet parking.
All you need:
-Hard copy of driving record from DMV (~$5)
-2 points or less on driving record i think
-Legitimate right to work in US
-Valid driver's license
-A good brain that knows basic 3rd grade math.
-Drug-free (supposedly), but no valet I knew ever got tested (obviously)
CONS
-Minimum wage
-Physical work, gotta really hussle sometimes, tiring
-You're pretty much a servant, customers/guests sometimes give you shitty attitude and you gotta put up with it.
-Expect to get stiffed in tips. Tips arent as "mantatory" in the parking industry as it is in the restaurant industry. But the tips are usually good at the end of the shift.
PROS
-tips on top of the wage is untaxed cash, and they can add up pretty nicely
-You pretty much set your own hours, how many shifts you want to work, etc.
-If you hit anything on the job, you're insured. But you get fired on the spot if you've been working for less than 90days.
-Keeps ya in shape haha
-Drive nice cars. You pretty much get paid to test drive all cars.
-Depending on the location, you get fed for free. Some places have full meals for employees, some have coffee and donuts.
-Real nice HR department.
-Takes A LOT to get fired if you dont hit anything. I'm "on-call" status, havent worked a shift in over 3months and am still employed, still got my uniform. If i ever want to work again, I just call in and sign up a shift.
-If you're smart about it, you can get hooked up with free parking in a very parking-limited Downtown SD (Padres games, events, etc)
In my experience, coworkers are way chill, the tips can be damn good. But I eventually left to work in an office that had a higher wage and my own desk, etc. I tried working both jobs just because I had some awesome shifts, but I go to school and couldnt handle 2 jobs on top of my studies. Office job pays less if you consider the tips you could get from valeting, but more convenient for me. I plan to go back to valeting sometime just because my boss hooks me up with nice shifts.
San Diego seems to have a high demand for valets, as SD has a downtown, buncha restaurants, and is a pretty big tourist attraction in general. ACE hires just about anyone, no interview, if you meet qualifications, you get hired on the spot, uniform provided right then and there. And if youre lucky you'll get a shift that same day too. Instant income.
So if youre looking for any job with decent pay, valet. Sure beats sittin around doing nothin, especially if youre gonna dump money into your car. Good luck!
