I was wondering, dothe SPL fender braces create noticeable oversteer or understeer? Just curious. Do you like the way they change the performance of the car?

It really depends on the full suspension set up on your car as to whether it has more understeer or oversteer. My personal setup has quite a bit of oversteer due to my preference for drifting. The braces just tighten up the front end a lot more and makes it feel more stable. And yes I like the way they feel.

if you're parting the 5-spd, i could use the upper clutch line (hardline)
