FYI, there's an S14 Silvia K's 5 speed on YAJ right now for ~$3600.

I'd say $4k might not be unreasonable for an S14 SE.

s14 do cost about 4 to 5 k, its just that people on autotrader and stuff seling there s14 for 10k is just ripping everyone off. or there smart enough to find people who are willing to pay that much.

my buddy got his s14 for 1k, but it had a blown head gasket, other than that it was in PRISTINE condition.

This is stupid...why do you think your going to get 7-8k for a s14...its a 9 year old car with over 100k miles on it and u expect to get that much money for it. Thats just plain stupid...plus s13s are the superior cars.

Right on. Also, people on any 240sx forums are too savy to pay a premium for cars that they know in and out.

I hate the whole process actually. I wish I could buy cars like I buy a pair of pants. I do try to sell them that way at least.

when i went to buy my car i could've lowballed the chick down to a grand but the ONLY reason i paid what i said i would was cause i said it. if you haven't given your word to a certain price anything is fair game.

incidentally the chick was shocked when i just handed her a 1400 in cash from a black portfolio after checking the paperwork... looked like really smooth drug deal :)
