What about for sale in Germany? I believe they drive on the right hand side of the road like we do, and I know they sell Nissan's throughout Europe, so what did they sell in Germany?

just a thought,

the only RHD skylines i've heard of have been in arab countries... lots of rich kids there that drive cars that are waaaay too nice for anyone to be driving.
those RHD skylines were converted using Altima dashes though....

That's a good question. I have never heard of one, but that's a valid point that other parts of the world receive the Skyline and drive on the right side of the road.

oops.. yeah. Pretty much all Skylines came RHD.... I think they were only sold in Japan and Australia, and in some parts of Europe as "grey" cars.

I thought we were one of the very few countries that drives on the right side of the road, arent most other countries on the left with RHD cars?

The R33's and R34's only ever came out in Right hand drive, dont know about R32's. Any that where seen with LHD would have been a local conversion.

Yes, Germany does drive on the right hand side of the carrigeway, as far as I know the Skylines that went over there where GTR's and used in races, they dont care where the steering wheel is on a racetrack much Dont know about the GTS-t's in Germany, come to think about it I only know one German and she like heavy metal... of the music variety.

I dunno fella's, instead of taking it in the arse with imports maybe you should get politically active about these things and start petitioning polititions about creating a Grey-Market for Japanese and Euro cars.

They Serve you, not the other way round!
Face facts, gun owning rednecks can scare your polititions into keeping their guns, think of it this way, you can own guns, and you can own cars and you can vote.... heheh!

In Germany it doesnt really mater which side your wheel is on as long as you past the f-ing drive school for it. There are a few RHD brit cars there but most are LHD VW Golfs... god germans love those cars. They also love the TDIs b/c Diesel is alot cheaper than gas. And if you ever go to germany... eat as many Doeners as you can! damn those things are cheap and good! At least the turks added something good to Germany. I used to love living there! Too bad I couldnt export a RHD STi WRX before I left, talk about a nice car .

I'd working on a military base in Hanau Germany for about a month, and the funny thing was...the only BMW's I saw were junkers driven by "bruthas" stationed on the base (who bought them for real cheap obviously). I do know that the US military has a deal with BMW, and BMW will give a nice price on new cars...as well as convert them to US spec at no additional cost. Evidently Mercedes Benz are preferred by the older crowd over there. I dont think I saw even ONE Porsche.....but I did get passes on the Autobahn by THREE Testarosas in a row (2 red and 1 black). Also, at the airport...some of the cabs were actually E class Mercedes (I thought that was crazy). Downtown Frankfurt had a small display of M series (Z3M, Z8M, etc..)...and those are just amazing.

that would be killer to have a Left Hand Skyline...
damn you shifting with left hand...that would be weird...
but yeah, None were produced...and if there are any out there...like everyone else said, it would have been a Local Conversion.
I saw an accord with r34 front and r33 rear the other day...looked kinda funny...but still an alrite conversion.

as far as driving a rhd car in a lhd country i dont think theres a law against it here so it must be the same in germany. all those countries are so close in western europe that they have similar road rules etc and its not against the law to drive a rhd drive car in lhd. there are only 3 countries that i know of (excluding south africa because i dont know the names of the african countries) that drive in rhd and thats austrailia uk and japan. i know for a fact that they made no factory lhd skylines. if you saw a lhd skyline it was a custom operation. they better bring the f*ing gtr over to the states soon. i bet theres a good chance of that happening because everyone is bringing over the once japan only cars (wrx, sti, evolution)

I don't know if anyone addressed this yet, but that's not true. Only a couple of countries drive on the left hand side. England, Germany, and Japan are the ones that come to mind. All others for the most part are right siders...that's one thing we seem to agree on w/ most of the world!
