I'll start off by saying that I had a hell of a time with the installation. I got my old exhaust off fine; everything but the flange that connects to the catalytic converter that is... so I ended up having to bring it to a shop to have it installed. My reccomendation if your exhaust is really rusty and you don't have a blow torch to heat up the nuts is to bring it to a shop to have it installed. You'll save yourself time and headache.
The first thing that I noticed was that it's quite loud. It's not to the point that it's annoying, but you can definately hear a big difference; at cruising speed / throttle, you barely even notice it. If you decide you don't care for the volume, you can always buy silencers for it in the end.
I can definately feel an increase in horsepower. I'm not sure if I would have if it was my first mod, but I've already got an Injen intake that helped open things up quite a bit. I haven't noticed any low end loss at all, but I'm not sure how accurate that is because I had a hole in my exhaust where the flange was separating from the pipe on the stock exhaust.
Another thing that I noticed, which made me very happy, is that throttle response seems much improved. I didn't expect this, but thinking about it, it does make sense seeing as how the amount of backpressure has been greatly reduced. This is noticable with a very slight loss of engine brake as well, but it's definately worth it.
Last but not least, one of the biggest pro's to the N1 Dual, is that it can be used on both N/A and Turbo cars. The two smaller diameter pipes keep low end loss down, but still flow as much as a larger diameter exhaust, so turbo applications will retain high end power.
All in all, I would definately reccomend this exhaust system, especially for those who are unsure as to whether they are going to go turbo in the future.
