but,
while pullin the SR out of the clip, and taking a ricirc valve's piping out, we found a C size battery blocking the hose. fucking idiots. so much for japanese ricers. :ughd:

Lots of people use batteries, nickels, etc. to fill various hoses, pipings, and openings. If you properly clamp it down it's really no different than using a proper endcap or whatever. Yes, it's ghetto, but it does the job usually just as well as the specifically designed part and is cheaper. Not to mention the fact that most people never see it.

I got a rubber table leg cap & metal clamp, used to block off stock BOV piping.
I've seen a pen cap used to block vacume lines too. Whatever works I guess :goyou:

I've seen film canisters used for BOV blocking.
The idea is, disable the stock BOV so you can utilize an aftermarket BOV.

Add me to the list of people using a C battery to block the recirc hose on the sidemount.
Why are they "fucking idiots"? It works fine and is a cheap fix.

i cut off the recirc vavle and taped round the whole intake tube didnt even look like it was ever there cept for the black elect tape

I used freeze plugs to block mine off.

I used a Duracell size C battery to plug up my stock recirculation valve opening.
