A full set of Centerline wheels in 15x8.5 with a -20 offset, 4x114.3 bolt pattern. I have brand new 225/50/15 Falken Ziex mounted on the wheels but never driven on. I just came across another set of wheels and need to get rid of these.

hm, I dont see how its shady at all.
Yeah I did buy them from philbro for 400 shipped. He offered them to me so I took them. I didn't win his ebay auction but I was the highest bidder(didn't meet his reserve) so he offered them to me for that price.
I went by the info he gave me, 15x8 0 offset. I tried them on and they didn't fit therefore I'm selling them. Maybe philbro should have told me they were 15x8.5 -20 offset, I wouldn't have purchased them because I know they wouldn't have fit.
How is, buying something cheap and selling it for more, shady? Vendors do it all the time.

the guy can sell them forever much he wants. he bought them fairly and if he wishes to make a profit then thats his problem. if you guys dont want to pay 450 for them you should of snatched them up when they were 400 shipped. let the guy sell his shit, quit filling up his thread with stupid hsit.

Well I didn't know they wouldn't fit. I didn't know they were -20 offset because philbro lied and said they were 0 offset.

here is the thing i sold the wheels as datsun/ corolla wheels, i told him the lip was around 4 inches and they would not fit without a fender flare. These things are sick regardless, i am kickin my self for selling them now...

So..why don't they fit???
- They don't clear the front calipers
- You need special lugs, shank style
- You need fender flares unless you dont mine having the wheel stick out about 1-2 inches.
-They will clear the calipers if you get some wheels spacers
- If you get spacers you may need extended wheel studs
-The Shank lugs can be purchased from Pep boys for roughly 15 bucks
edit: btw this is on a S13

Sorry, no pics of them on my car. When I test fitted them they stuck out about 1.5-2" with -1 deg of camber.

my boss owned a tire shop for 20+ years and told me that you cant put a negative offset wheel on a rear wheel drive car cuz it will fry the bearings. thats why when you look at some wheel catalogues you see a front wheel drive section and a rear wheel drive section. the only difference i guess is the offset. i have no idea though thats just what the expert told me.

Runing the wheel barings is a load of crap, only ignorante ppl think that. If you look at the wheel, it has just as much surface area as a stock wheel behind the hub, so it shouldent do anything to the wheel barring.
Check out my Memebers rides for pics of these wheels

I kind of understand where you boss is coming from. He probably thinks that because the negative offset pushes the contact patch and weight of the wheel further out, that it would put more stress on the bearings because of the load placement.

That would be true with like a 15x6 -20 offset, your stressing the bearing, but if you look at the centerlines, the face of the wheel is mounted in the center of the 8inchs so theirs a 4 inch lip, so therfore it doesnt have any more pressure than stock..
