what if you use the SR flywheel w/ the SR clutch.

bolts up fine to the KA24DE block?

Don't believe so. IIRC, the bolt pattern from flywheel to crank is different.

yes because ka flywheel has 6 bolts and sr flywheel has 8 bolts.

I remember hearing something about getting KA or SR flywheel redrilled to work with KA so you could use SR clutch...Cant remember exactly what though...my memory is horrible..

JUN makes one for the KA, so I don't see why people wouldn't use them.

i know a ka can use a z32 n/a clutch with a fly wheel from a 4 cyl d21 truck, so i bet a sr clutch would work, its just a matter of getting a flywheel re pinned for it....................

...but whats the point?

if a z32 and sr clutch are 240mm a ka is 225, well you get 15mm more friction surface, high hp ka's tend to trash clutchs fast. so by using a bigger one you get better reliability. im going with a z32 one in my ka-t when its done, got the d21 flywheel just gott send it out to get lightened.
