Just wanted to get everybodys opinion on steering wheels. What do you think is better 300mm, 350mm or 360mm. I would think if its to big it would get in the way when ya try and toe and heel. What are 240 default size?
Also anyone know a cheap place to get the adapter hubs? Possible a group buy maybe?

My friend has a 320mm momo... it is nice but tiny, feels strange, if you have broader shoulders like me it will get uncomfertable after a little while. As for playing with the wheel, remember, if you get pulled over and you had an airbag stock that is one more ticket that they can give you, it's a fedral offence to alter an saftey device on your car or something.

I thought it was only illegal to disable the passenger side airbag unless it's done by the dealer or as an option to the car or something???

Same goes for the driver side. You change your wheel you can get busted, and they can tell right waya cause you have the tab in the front of your dash that says you have airbags... and if you unplus your airbag, does your airbag light stay on all the time, or can you just pull the fuse to make that go away??
N E way, I know it is illegal, hell, they had that as one of the 100 criminal things the cops can guve you a ticket for when they pull you over in SS a while back... like did you know the bottom of you headlights has to be 22 inches off the ground? wtf?

I changed my steering wheel before to a Momo steering wheel. It was the biggest mistake I did to my car because I lost my airbag, that damn "Air Bag" red warnign light keeps blinking non stop, I messed up my cruise control and worse of all is really hard to rewire that damn horn. The wires keeps wrapping itself to the hub and breaking off. Keep your original steering wheel!

Most steering wheels can use momo hub. You can get the momo hub from any momo dealer. All you need is steering wheel and a hub and of course tools to change your steering wheel.

notorius, i just installed my Momo in my '98, customized, made cruise and horn work properly. let me know if you want to know how. i hoped to write up & post to installs here, but been very busy with Spring comin so soon! i've even got pics of mods.
coasTek, u have NO prob if non-airbag car. Momo hub #3508 and choose 6-hole wheel (Momo, OBX, etc). do u have cruise??
i'd suggest 350mm wheels, most comfortable. my $.02 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
PS u can "black out" the silver lettering on ur dash plate that says "airbag", maybe a cop wouldnt know. plus depends on where u live.....here in MI i dont think i'll get hassled <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

My friend has had an aftermarket wheel on his 97 Integra for at least a year now and he hasn't had any hassles with the cops. His was airbag equipped but when he bought it, but they were blown so the easiest thing for him to do was to go aftermarket.
