When i was driving home from a friends house my clutch pedal all of a sudden went out. When i pushed down on it, it didn't come back up. After i managed to get home in 5th gear, my buddy and i looked at my car and discovered the slave cylinder was shot. So i went to auto zone and got a replacement for 15 bucks. Then we changed out the slave cylinder and bled the lines and the box. My cluch felt like brand new again until i started my car. When i put my foot on the clutch pedal it vibrates really bad. My car is able to shift in and out of gears but the pedal vibration worries me. It seems like there is a gap between the slave cylinder piston rod and the fork thing that comes outa my tranny... can someone please tell me how to make this problem go away. this is my daily driver so im screwed if i don't get this problem fixed. Thanks in advanced!!!

my friend had the same problem. He got a new slave cylinder and it worked for a couple days but his clutch lose pressure. then we changed the clutch master cylinder ($50) and we bleed it hella good and then ajusted the clutch pedal and now it works like its brand new. I don't know about the shaking though. If you adjust the pedal it self, it might go away.

rod connected to the clutch pedal under your dash. Just take out the clip and start moving the nut to adjust. :p
