Window tint laws in CA?

Whats the darkest window tint you can have in CA?

Any tint in allowed on the windows to the rear of the driver. No tint is allowed on the passenger or driver windows unless a doctors note is provided.

I got a ticket for my front windows being tinted and it is a $112.50 fine or $10 fix it. And that's if the officer decides to make it correctable.

It can be as dark as you want, as long as you don't tint the front windows.
