Does anyone have any pics of what the rear wide body kit looks like without the wide body front fenders? Does it look funny or OK. I'm thinking about getting the wide body rears to cover up so body damage, but didn't really want the front fenders. Thanks for any pics.

the stock fenders are kinda wide anyhow. i think it'd be totally acceptable with 30mm rear fenders.

Yeah the 30mm fenders were the ones I was planning on picking up. It just makes the Wheel search that much harder, though.

Man that looks awesome. What kind of wheel combo will you be running? What size/offset is needed to make those bad boy's look flush, anyone???????????

Looks like the Chargespeed fenders. I thought about widebody for awhile, but I think a nice roll/pull would work better for me, all steel, no FRP.:D

whats gonna look funny is your rims if you dont have a good offset rim to compliment the wide body........

Id throw on some Neg offset wheels on such an agressive widebody.

For 30mm id put on

17x10 -15 offset, if not lower offset

For 50mm over id put on

17 or 18 x12 -15 offset or somthing crazy like that

Now for the GP sport Blitzen kit (IIRC 65mm)
You need some crazy ness like 18x12.5 -25 offset... sick

I just got some CE28N's that are 17x9 and 17x10 with a offset of +15 all around. I was told that it would be flush with 50mm fenders but it seems that the company I got the rims from is wrong. Should I get wheel spacers? Are there any disadvantages in having wheel spacers?

Throw the 17x10 +15 in front with a 10mm spacer. And then get some thing wider than 10inch with more of a neg offset in the rear. like a 11.5 in rear with a -15 or so, that should flow nice, might need minor spacerage, but test out and find out how many inches left you can fit in the wheel well, and then add another inch, and thats the wheel you need.

Ok I understand you have to pick up a roller to roll the fenders, but how do you pull fenders????

TokyoNights

you can pull fenders with a roller

pulling=rolling to an extreme

Ian

to roll all you need is a metal working hammer and some skeelz :p

NO, you cannot pull fenders with a roller, you can only roll fenders with a roller, slighty extending the OEM lip of the fenders. You will have to heat the fender area, then roll with a bat, or pipe. this will give you the pulled look, becaue the roll using a standard roller is not as extreme, unless you don't want an extreme look, as incorporating a bat, or pipe, I suggest the pipe, make sure you can heat the area being modified, it will prevent warp, and paint damage. . . .

I pulled my fenders last weekend with a roller, Its absolutly possible. I heated the inside with a butane torch and heated the exterior with a heat gun so the paint wouldnt crack.

30mm fenders are weeksause. If you're going to go wide body, then go 50mm all the way! Spacers are fine as long as you get the right size and can still thread the bolts securely.

I have a 50mm wide rear fender. 18x9.5 +3 offset and it sits flush, kinda makes me think how a 17x10 with a -15 would look on the same 50mm widebody, probably all mexican style with the wheels out fast the fenders...

yeah, no offense to Zemus, but those numbers seem VERY far off

is it possible to pull/roll fenders without damaging the paint? i know you guys wrote saying you heated the fenders first to prevent damage, but is it possible to pull/roll fenders without damaging the paint?what would be the success ratio of successfully pulling/rolling fenders without damaging the paint? :newbie:

depends on who is doing it. I would say its vey hard to damage the paint from rolling. I have only tried pulling once and i didnt damage the paint at all, i didnt pull very far though, I only needed a few mm more clearance.

A 10" -15 only extends out 24mm further, which is nothing at all when you dial in negative camber and run a stretched tire (nothing against 275s, it's all about what you want/need).

You can pull fenders with a fender rolling tool. I would be more inclined to pull with a roller than with a bat or pipe, which would be more suitable for rolling. Just assume that pulling will damage your paint.
