Hey everyone. Just seeing what?s out there for fd shells. Would prefer a shell as it would keep initial costs down and have plans of building it but not picky on what?s on the car. As long as it rolls and the interior is mostly there. Exterior doesn?t matter a whole lot either as I can paint it. But looking to be around 5-6k. Thank you

What part of "Zilvia" screams "rotary marketplace"? [emoji848] You're on the wrong forum, my friend, we only deal in shitboxes here.

Yeah I know[emoji23] use to be big into 240?s but wanted something different. Didn?t know if anyone that was on here owned one they wanted to get rid of. Went to post in the rx7 forum but the last post from them was like a year and a half ago

Lol I don't know where you're from but I know a few place on the west coast that might have FD shells. I don't particularly find FD shells to be a common occurrence though, being how sought after they are.

I live in Colorado but definitely willing to travel for what I want. But yeah I?ve been all over marketplace in Craigslist all over the country and I only found like 3 fd?s and all were 40k plus (a low mile imported Bathurst, fully built rotary show car and this guys supercharged ls swap). Since I last looked at them a year or two ago there is far less available

Cool, that's my home state. Miss it in CO quite a bit, now I live in Portland where we get two seasons: wet and dry... but mostly wet. Anyways, yeah, they pop up every so often. One just came up for sale out here about a month ago in the kind of urban outskirts are for I think 18k. Waay underpriced imo, it was a very nice example. But there is a shop out here that's kind of low key that specialize in rotaries. I always see a few FD shells/rollers out front of their shop whenever I drive by.

Oh nice. Yeah. Colorado you?ll have all 4 seasons in one day which sucks. But yeah I?ve heard that about Oregon. Super pretty though. And awesome. That might be something I?d look into

Yeah I miss the extreme weather. Makes things interesting.

Anyways, I think that shop was called L&G Auto Repair, but I don't know if it's under new management or something because on google they cleaned up their front lot and their website is just a basic mechanics shop. I however distinctly remember driving past their place for years and seeing all manner of FDs in bad shape just chilling in their front lot.
