This plug(yellow and white) does not have any other place to plug into. whole dash is ripped out, and still cant find where this goes. This being unplugged for only knows how long has been the reason i have not gotten any voltage to my IAT, causing it to throw a code forever now. Need to get cel off to pass emissions. I have the old wiring harness that used to be in the car and I have traced wires back and it leads to that one plug still :( please help, thank you.

What? IAT is a 2 wire sensor. Its black and blue w white stripe on the side of your airbox and those 2 wires go directly to your ecu. Whatever that is, isnt IAT.

Grab an fsm for your car and go to the EL section and it'll show you where every plug is and where it goes.

Ec section for reading and fixing your CEL.

Ill have to do some wire tracing back to the ecu and make sure they are in the proper pin layout. sucks that both harnesses old and new are wired wrong just for that one sensor. I don't know where i got the idea from, that this plug was my problem lol. thank you :)

Why do you think your harnesses are wired wrong?

The harness is wired wrong. I have changed wire from pin 28 to pinhole 63 on the ecu. Now its reading correctly, I finally have air temp! lol. I have been trying to figure this out for while, but I think I have figured some of it. It is 96-98 wiring harness but a 95 ecu. Im not sure if any other wiring is jacked up. All I have left is a code for p1400 and sometimes code p0136 comes on too, but with the egr deleted I cant figure out how to get that code off(p1400), I do have the egr solenoid valve. I tried hooking up vacuum line to it as well and hooked it up to the harness just so i could see if i could get it even, remotely close to keeping that cel off, but no luck. I have considered of getting a 96-98 ecu but will more codes show up when I hook that one up??? The car is still all stock both O2 sensors are 3 wire if that helps, I also use a scanner tool called Blue driver. It tells me the code is somthing else, it states p1400 comes back as "Sub Throttle Position Sensor Circuit.". I have no idea what to do :( I have images of both ecu wiring diagrams which I have been using to compare 95 to 96-98 wiring as well.
