no headlights, runnin lites or tails WTF

ok well i was moving battery to the trunk, and i after i hooked up power wire, i here a snap from up front, so i look and i didnt tape this lil piece of metal and touched intake. now i dont have headlights, parkin lights, or running lights on the side, and no tail lights, but i do have turn signals, and brake lights work. what did i do? and how the hell do i fix it please help now i cant drive at night

well i got tails and running light to work but now head lights still wont go on but high beams work i guess i will just drive with highs on cause no one can seem to help me out

You are lucky the car starts. Check all the fuses. ^^^

i found the tail fuse was broke so i fixed it now headlights are the only thing not workin but i get highbeams WTF

your probably still shorting out somewhere or you just plain out blew your head lights

You blew both bulbs or the switch. There's no separate fuses for high/low.

Time to get the voltmeter out or the test light and find out where the short is...The Electrical part of a car is the part that people overlook and do a shotty job on, be careful...You can fry some really expensive parts...
