I have a 1990 auto to manual sohc to dohc swap. I got a new reverse switch for the transmission, as the old one appeared to have the wires ripped off. I also ended up putting in an isr short shifter and solid shifter bushing at the same time. When I threw everything together though my reverse lights only come on when I'm holding the shifter as far into reverse as I can and when I let go they shut off. I did try re-tightening the switch as much as I could. Has anyone else ever encountered this problem? I was thinking it might be the sensor is a bit short and I was gonna order a genuine nissan one this time. :wtf:
