95 J30 VLSD, fits all 240's. 6 bolt output shafts. Currently has 4 bolt diff cover for 89-94 S13's, but I MIGHT have a 2 bolt cover around here which you could use to fit it into a 95+ 240sx. I'll have to check. I'll also include the extra bolts and washers to bolt the diff up at the drive shaft end. New mobil 1 oil.
If you want faster service just call, otherwise email or a pm.

Hey would you like to trade diff covers?
I have my S13 open diff with S14/J30 2-bolt cover on it (swapped covers when I put it the VLSD into my S13.)
Anyways, here's the deal:
You give your 4 bolt rear diff cover for my 2 bolt cover?
That way, I have a completely stock OEM S13 open diff and you have a VLSD w/ S14/J30 differential rear cover for easy bolt in?
Yeah, its complicated but thought if you need the cover, I could take the 4 bolt off your hands too.
I'm in the Bay Area also (San Mateo)

I have both covers actually...the S13 cover is on right now. I could swap it to the S14 cover if the buyer wanted but I don't know if the bolts would work for the S14 subframe. (The 2 bolts at the front of the diff, not the rear bolts on the cover.)

Well looks like I'll continue trying to sell my diff as is... S13 open diff with S14 rear cover. So nevermind on my rear cover swap.
And to clarify regarding the bolts --- S14 front front differential mounting bolts are longer than the S13 ones. (I compared them since I had both). People end up using washer as spacers to adjust the leftover length on their S13's. I went thru a few archived threads here on Zilvia about this. I would suggest getting the correct size bolts depending on the chassis model S13 or S14 to whoever you sell your diff to.

Answer regarding the bolts? I don't understand what you are asking. Sorry.

If I sold it to someone with an S14 they could use their S14 bolts no?
The bolts on the S13 need washer spacers because the girth isn't large enough.

It sounds like it bolts right into an S14 since the carriers are the same. S13 needs longer bolts...which I have.

"You will also need 2 longer mounting bolts for the S13 chassis, and 2 large washers for the front mounts...to be used with the large bushings on the front mounts.
They are M12 X 1.25 thread/pitch, 85mm long.
The stock S13 front mounting bolts are not long enough for the J30 and S14 diff mounts.
And I've seen more than few diffs drop out from the front mounts by not using washers - They need to be ~1.5" diameter or so, and 1/8"
thick."
